Snow!!

Yup!! Our first official snow of the year today. The first snow is always so pretty....could have done without the freezing rain before hand though, made things a little slick!!

I'm thankful though....last year around this time we were having a blizzard that dropped 36 inches in about a day and a half!

    OMG! Bethie, you are so very brave and smart. I can't drive worth a hoot in snow and ice, well I can if I have to. Ice is to darn tricky to even try.

    we had our first small snow already. It's so pretty, as long as I don't have to drive in it!

    We have had snow for about a week now. Right now we have a few inches of ground cover. The surrounding mountains of course have more.

    Judi...even after 25 years of driving in this weather, it sometimes is scary. I didn't have much of a choice that day, it had started the freezing rain as I went into work, and continued the whole day.

    Shelley...I agree, very pretty. Finally makes it seem like the holiday's now!!

    Kris...we kept having systems coming at us, but it always went around! I have family in Rhinelander, and they've been nailed twice in the last couple of weeks. Don't think there'll be as much snow this year when you're home!!
